When I decided that I was tired of starving to death as a biologist’s pay, I went to work for Roadway Express in management at various places throughout the U.S. Through the years, I worked my way up to Terminal Manager. Later, I spent years with American Frieghtways where I also ran terminals. For a short time, I also worked for Jones Truck Lines, Red Arrow, and Super Transport. I held many different jobs over 27 years of working in trucking including:
- Dock Foreman
- City Dispatcher
- Terminal Operations Manager
- Sales Representative
- Terminal Manager
- Office Manager
- Regional Administration Manager
- Director of Claims
- Director of Customer Service
- Director of Training (Corporate Trainer)
